A friend of mine called me the other day and wanted to discuss about temptation to move over to the other side. Every person faces such temptation. This can be anything from a simple carving for a piece of creamy cake, to acquiring ill-repute wealth, to extra marital affair with a handsome guy or beautiful gal, to anything else that you would term as not correct. The friend told me that there was this innate feeling to experience the otherside and wondered what if the other side was really the destiny meant tobe.
I pondered over the subject and told my friend that by believing, the other side was destiny, maybe the friend was keeping the window open. Through that window one could see the other side is panaromically beautiful. The scene is so scintilating, that you forget the comfort of your own abode. So you want to cross over to the other side through this window. But however, you don't realise that there is this deep chasm in between the window and the enchanting scenary. The chasm could be so deep and dark, that if you fall across while treading, you might not be able to reach either side. Thus losing your existing comfort level.
And if you really believe that so called destiny exist, then you need to close the window and forget about this scenary. If the mind still wanders and this destiny still yearns out for you, then you will find the right door with the correct path, that will lead you to this beautiful place. You don't have to oscillate between your current path and the window.
This is applicable for every person no matter what struggle they are involved in. Each one should embrace the righteous path and move ahead with a clear conscious mind.
