Weight Loss Day Eleven

Date: May 12th 2009

Technically today would be the 10th day after start of my low carb high protein diet. In theory I am done with my 10 day marathon. But I will keep continuing for a few more days. In a normal scenario, Atkins induction phase runs for 14 days. I will keep this race going on for 4 more days. After the 14th day, I will start introducing small amounts of carbs and will try to follow the next routine as per Atkins diet.

I have to check my lipid levels and will do so on June 13th.

Breakfast: 2 hard boiled egg

Lunch: grilled fish and vegetables

Dinner: grilled chicken and vegetables

Weight Loss Day Ten

Date:11th May 2009

Weight measured: 154 lbs

Today is day 10. I will take one more measurement tomorrow. So far I have lost 6.5 lbs in 10 days. Thats a pretty remarkable achievement. Though I have still not attained the goal of losing 10 lbs in 10 days, but again, thats a drop of 4% of my body weight. So my conclusion is that a person can easily drop 4% of his/her body weight in 10 days.

Breakfast: 2 hard boiled egg (Yolk removed).

Lunch: Grilled chicken, broccoli and cauliflowers.

Dinner: Grilled fish, cauliflower, squash and zuchhuni.

Drinks: Lots of water.

Supplements:one-a-day vitamin, psyllium husk.

Exercise:
2 miles@ 9.25 min/mile on elliptical trainer,
