Weight Loss Update

I have moved on from induction phase to OWL (On-going Weight Loss). I think I must have gone a little over board last weekend. The burger from sonic tasted extremely delicious. Also I ate a mango yesterday. I felt the urge to add a small portion of brown rice to my meal yesterday, so indulged myself with a little rice. I also ate few honey coated cashew nuts (bad!!! very bad!!!)

I think I must have gone over board with the relaxation of carbs for OWL. Fortunately my weight remained the same when I measured it this morning. I have prepared five boxes of meals for the whole week and have stuffed it in the refrigerator. Hopefully that will keep a tab on my carb splurge.

Weight measured: 153.5 lbs

vilas, its not like you are 400 lbs, c'mmon man. I'll tell you an easy way out we jains do. Fast. 8 days, you will lose 50 lbs guaranteed. By fast, i mean fast. only water. Its tuff but its over in a week :P with obvious results.

First and foremost Thank you sheetal for posting the first ever coment on my blog. I didn't really think anyone read my blog. The reason I decided to go for my 150lbs goal, is because, I will be completing 5 years of my wedding anniversary on May23rd. I was 150lbs on the day of my marriage. I plan to remain in the same level even after 5 years of my marriage. Also I have so much respect for people who practise Jainism, since it would require utmost mental power to fast for 8 days. I knew one of my neightbor from Mumbai who was Jain, would fast for 8 days. She used to pass out at times, but still maintained her fast through out. Apun ke pass itna dhamm nahi hai.
